Heavenly Day

Ingrid was baptised back in November. We had a lot of family attend the church service and help Ingrid celebrate the day.
As we were leaving the church, a women came up to me and said, "You don't know me but my name is Ingrid and I just want to let you know I love my name. I have always felt so special to have such a lovely name and I know your daughter will love it too."
Some of you might know we didn't name Ingrid until we were leaving the hospital. I wanted to spend some time with her to make sure the name fit. It seemed like a big name for a little baby, but each day, it feels like that name was made especially for her.

Thanksgiving Part II

Becky and Ingrid
Tired Baby...

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Kotniks at Zak's house. Again another fabulous meal.

We have about 10 of these dinner shots. Cody REALLY loves the self-timer feature on our camera.

Driver's Ed tip

My driver's lisence expired about a month ago and I did not want to take two little kids with me to the DMV so I went on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving because my mom could watch the girls. Brilliant! There was no wait. The staff were totally relaxed and funny and I got a SUPER good picture.

Thanksgiving - Part I

We celebrated Thanksgiving a couple of times this year. Grandma Shirley hosted a wonderful meal at her house on Thursday. Fran, Vi, Derek, Cody, the girls and I all attended.

We can finally take non-blurry close-ups. Here's little Ingrid.

We recently purchased a new camera and I'm finally are getting around to putting the photos on our site. I have no idea how to use the date function yet. These were taken at the end of November.

Halloween 2007

Cody had Halloween off so we made a day of it. It was a bit chilly, but that didn't stop us.

Here are our pumpkins. Two spooky and two happy.

The girls and I trick or treaking. Little pumpkin Ingrid is all bundled up in my coat.

"Look at all the chocolate candy in my mouth!"

Magical Mystery Tour...

Okay - so it's not the Beatles. But to Greta it was even better - Barney. Barney visited a local toy store and Greta and Cody were there to meet him. Barney is usually with us, if not in person, than in spirit (as an imaginary friend.)
